Hello Everyone I have a question... I am an internationally educated nurse from the Philippines my question is I have become an lpn here in manitoba after doing the bridging program so my credentials are still from the philippines now i want to do lpn to bn in athabasca univ. my concerns are: how do i have them assessed my credential? (is it thru iqas?) next question is lets say i finished the program will it be recognized by the regulatory body jn manitoba? next question is for the practicum are there no options to do all of it in manitoba? or do i have to really do 3 placements in alberta except for the last placement? i would appreciate any response thank you

Do you have 1,700 hours of LPN work experience in Manitoba? Have you asked Athabasca University your questions? They are in the best position to answer your questions. Regarding the placements, if you search 'Athabasca university' using the search tool in the top right hand corner of AN, you will see PN-BN students did their placements in Alberta.
