Lpn degree in the us wanting to move to canada

Hello everyone,

Hopefully someone knows the answer to my question.
I want to move to Canada with my children and my husband.
What is the best way by me being a LPN new grad in the US.
Please note that we are not US citizens, we have been living in the US for 13 years, my husband is from Venezuela and I am from Argentina, our children ages 7, 5, 1 are US citizens.

My husband has a 3 year degree as Human Resources from Venezuela, so I was looking into the Skilled Worker Program, which we do qualify but I'm not sure how long the process takes.
I was also looking into WTP but I'm not sure if I qualify as a LPN and I don't know how long the process takes as well.

Does anybody have any information about this matter?

You will need to start with the province nursing board and be assessed. Once eligible to sit the Canadian LPN exam then a case of looking for a employer and getting a work permit. Information re different routes for working/living/immigration to Canada can be found on the CIC website

Once I am eligible to sit the Canadian LPN exam, how difficult will it be to find an employer? Where do I start?
I was thinking of hospitals, but will they hire someone who is a LPN vs a RN?
When I do happend to find an employer, how long does the work permit process take?

One more question, What is the best route: applying under Skilled Worker or applying for a TWP and once in Canada, apply for PR there.

I appologize but I'm very confused at the moment

I would say once you have eligibility to sit the Canadian exam then start contacting hospitals regarding jobs. A lot will depend on route you take and what you qualify for is occupation is on skilled list PNP or skilled PR route is quicker than it used to be although TWP can be quicker but again can vary depending on country
