I actually moved the thread to the International Forum since it is specific to being a foreign nurse and applying for licensure in the US. You are applying for licensure as an RN, we do not have applications for the NCLEX exam directly. I also took the liberty of editing the title since there are no applications for the NCLEX exam.

You are going to need to have the CES report completed and sent in to Illinois, they will not look at your application without that being done. Average wait time is approximately 4 months. Also be aware that if your program was not done in English, you will also have to meet the English requirements for the IL BON before the CES report will actually be issued by CGFNS.

I would not do anything further until you have received a notification from CGFNS that they have completed your CES and have sent that on.

There are several threads on the International Forum that outline specifically what needs to be done for Illinois in terms of licensure. Please have a good read and then let me know if you have any more questions.
