License verification for visascreen

Hi guys,

I' m new in this forum and would appreciate any advice or suggestion regarding my situation. I am applying for viascreen certificate and I need license verification from Colorado Board of Nursing. After making several attempts to contact over phone and email, finally I was told that Colorado BON doesn't do manual verification and I need to print the verification from online service "Primary source" and send to to CGFNS.

Now, CGFNS says they will not accept any validation that doesn't come directly from Colorado board. When I called the Colorado board, they said they don't do it and was told to talk to a supervisor. I have left the voicemail but haven't received any response from the supervisor.

I'm so confused and lost right now. Has anybody recently done license verification from Colorado board? What did you do it?

Please enlighten me.

Thanks

I am not an expert in these matter but I'm confused. Why do you need a verification of license from Colorado BON? Where do you intend to use your visascreen?

For the vsc you need to show CGFNS that you have passed NCLEX and met requirements by a state to be a nurse. To do this you need to get the state to verify this to them. VSC is a federal requirements for someone wanting to live and work in the US and is applying via employer for immigrant or work visa

Yeah, I understand that. That is also why I am confused. I mean, I am assuming that she is applying for the visa screen for the US right? So why would the visa screen ask for license verification for her US license if she is to work there? Do I have to do this for my Texas application, a verification of license from Texas BON for my Visa Screen?

Yes because NCLEX is part of the US state requirements to indicate you have met state requirements hence verifying NCLEX pass

If a CGFNS representative doesn't know license verification through Nursys is acceptable, there's a certain person you need to ask for. It's just that writing a name here will get censored due to protection of privacy. I'd advise you to ask to speak with a supervisor and explain the situation if explaining it to a frontline representative doesn't help.
