i received a letter two days ago from the board and i am missing one requirement, i need to give them a copy of my local license from my native country (philippines) but the problem is i didn't take the local board.
i left after my graduation last april 2007 because i'm an immigrant and already staying outside the u.s. for 5 months and we don't want to maximize it (6 months) to not get furder questionings (unfortunately they did question us in another room). so techinically, i didn't had a chance to take the june local board as well as the december board.
now, i'm very confused and read on their website that i need a letter of explanation. my brother who graduated last year had the situation as i am now but he sent his letter in advance during his time of application which he didn't told me earlier. he doesn't want to tell what he exactly told the board and it's very vague. my dad told me that i'm an immigrant and i should tell the board that i didn't took the local because i'm not going to practice there.
what should i do? what should i tell? what things do i need to elaborate and what's not?
