Default Re: Job hunting for out of country LPNs
That's a rather vague question. It probably would be possible to find a job as an LPN while in Canada on a visit, depending on what province you're visiting... But you, as a IEN, will have to still go through the whole process of immigration and transfer of licensure if you aren't seeking employment in BC. Just being offered a job at a facility here isn't going to smooth over any of those wrinkles for you. The employer will have a number of steps they will have to take before they can employ you as well. Then they have to be willing to wait for you to get all your ducks in a row with immigration and licensure. Be prepared for a long and winding road to employment. And please read the many threads on this topic that are already here.

Moving to International as required by the subject matter of immigration issues.
