Hi everyone. Im new here, but not new to the whole process. Heres a brief outline:

Married to an American, both living over here in the UK. The process started before I married my husband, so Ive stuck with it.

Joined OGP November 2004.

Passed NCLEX April 2005.

Job offer in May 2005.

Finally got I-140 approval July 2006.

Patiently waiting for the rest! :monkeydance:

Got my job lined up in San Fransisco, anyone else there or going there?

Hubby is originally from Calif. but has lived in Seattle for 20 years so I'm OK with all the technicalities but would love to know that I'm not gonna be the only Brit there!

Love the forum, found out lots of usual ditties and saved a bit of my sanity with all the delays I've had and now the retrogression thing!!!

Big question is: Is life over there really better than here or is it just the "grass is greener" syndrome?

Hubby and I have lots of discussions about this, he wants to stay here although is OK about us going there for a couple of years or so.

Cant wait to see for myself though, hopefully not much longer now.:nurse: :D :balloons:

:groupwelcome: I'm going to CA but not near San-fran, I will be in LA.

I have relatives in Sf & often visit them, I like it there but we prefer the LA climet. We also have relatives in LA, Sacramento & Washington DC. So if we get fed up with LA we can always move on. Hope the process is a smooth journy for you though you do seem to have been off to a slow start.
