Interview "Final-Stage" Done

  1. wheew! just arrived last night from london, tired but everybody is happy coming back here in lancashire... we just finished the interview last friday morning. t'was not chilly outside the queue but we feel very tensed. the bldg. is heavily guarded with concrete barriers on all sides. there were about 15 iv & hundreds of niv applicants....first the consul reviewed our docs, fingers printed, pics scanned, when we came back the consul asked few questions about my contract, then asked us to raise our right hand for sworn statement and then signed backside of ds230 and sent us to pay sms courier. the consul officers were so very kind, friendly with good sense of humour...

one thing i want to share to other iv applicants, please make sure that you have "unconditional job offer" letter/contract from your employer. the us consul required my employer to "rephrase" my contract and fax it asap prior to releasing our visas anytime next week...

we plan to move by january 2007... six weeks maybe enough to sort out things. "new year, new job, new place to live". i wish to thank everybody here in this forum, most especially those who replied to my pm's and other fellow filipino applicants who currently work here in uk...

as i always say- "the joyful heart is good medicine"

What does that mean about the unconditional offer? All the best with the move.

I site an example in international forum under Unconditional Job Offer, the consul wants to make it clear and rephrase statement since I've got all the complete documents.
