You will need to get the equivalent of the BSN, meaning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The RN is the name of the license that we get. The degrees available to you are Diploma in Nursing, the Associate Degree in Nursing, and the BSN in the US; all three will give you RN status.

All CRNA programs require at least one year of critical care experience as a registered nurse in the US. You should be able to find a second courser program that you will be able to complete in about two years, but that is all that you will get credit for. Medicine is different from dentistry, just as nursing is another area. And very different from dentistry. The physicians from other countries that wish to practice in the US get the BSN. There are no shortcuts to it. And definitely none that will get you into a CRNA program. They are extremely strict on that, and it is actually harder to get into anesthesia school than it is medical because of the number of positions that are available, as well as the number of students that wish to attend.
