international nursing students in usa: US military recruiting foreign MD's/RN's

what do you think about US government recruiting foreign RN's and MD's who are here in US for at least the past two years with legal documents. is anyone thinking about joining the army? do you have to have BSN to join the army?

It's interesting. I don't know how people on those work visas will be able to get the time to be in the military as well, when they're required to maintain their jobs to keep their non-immigrant status.

I think a whole lot of "F" visa holders will be applying for the military now in order to get a fast-tracked green card (and get to practice their nursing once they graduate).

Regarding army requirements, you'd have to check the army website.

I thought you must have at least a GC to be in the military, no?

They must be in the US legally in the US for 2 years on certain visas

Hello,

How long do you think this program will last? I read on the linked website that it will last for one year but do you think it's possible they'll extend it indefinitely?
