Coming to the U.S. Permanently - Immigrant Services
Important Notice: Application Processing Fees for Immigrant Visas to Increase from $335 to $355 on January 1, 2008. Applicants who have paid the current $335 fee prior to January 1, 2008 will not be required to make up the difference and pay the higher fee even if their application is actually processed after January 1, 2008.

- All applicants who already paid for it need not worry even if it really has not been processed yet because of retrogression. The $20 dollar increase will only be for those who were not yet asked to pay for it.

The previous total fee is $335 (visa processing fee) + $45 (security fee) = $380; now it will be $400 ($355 + $45).
