I need some ideas, please

Hi everybody: Me and my family have our visas now. I'm planning to travel in about a month. But I have a question. My agent advised me to register in Vermont (it seemed more rapid to obtain approval). Then I'd have to ask for endorsement to Nj. The situation is that, since I'm planning to take Nclex in the first week of Dec., how long would you say it would take for me to have the examination results, and then the endorsement approved. (Considering winter hollydays) Would I be able to get the ncclex results on line?

You should be able to get the NCLEX results fairly quickly. There are several ways that you can get the results:

1. Use Pearson Vue if Vermont participates in that system, and the results are up in 48 hours.

2. Check the board of Nursing web site for your liscense number (thats how I found out- it took about two weeks because my state does a background check.)

3. You get the results in the mail. Also takes bout 2-3 weeks.

Endorsement can take about 8 weeks for a US graduate, it may take longer as a foreign graduate because the state will need to verify your education.

Thank you for the information. I was wondering, should the State BON
check my education even though I have a CGFNS Certificate? If this is so, I don't understand whatis CGFNS Certificate for?
