by Qatrn

Hi, I am new in this forum. I read so many post but I am still confused. My employer has filed my iI-140 and i rceievd a copy of the "notice of action" but no priority date. What will happen to my application then? Will I wait for 3-4 years or longer? Thank you. by the way, i'm from philippines.
P.S.

Please read the posts above. Your question is already answered.........
You have just started the first step, there are actually four to go thru. Alot also depends on where your petitioning is being done..........For California, it will be at least two years before you get your green card.

Do you have a Visa Screen Certificate and have you taken NCLEX yet?

Hi Suzzanne! Thanks for the reply. My employer filed my I-140 in Nebraska. Yes, I have my Visa Screen and I also passed nclex.

In normal times, you have about an 18 month wait, with the retrogression, could be a little longer.............

Good luck and please keep me posted.........

Thanks. i have another question, which one is faster, nebraska, texas, california or vermont? is the uscis processing date is updated? when i check online it shows that nebraska is processing application of nov 2003 while vermont and Texas is February 2005 while california is Dec 2004...long wait plus retrogression must lead to patience and more patience with super slow agent/employer....I submitted all my documents on nov 2004 and i only got my notice of action by april 2005....sigh.....

Vermont is the fastest, California is the slowest.......................
Those dates are just processing dates, you still have to add in all of the other times..........without the retrogrssion going on, you are looking at minimum of 18 months for that area, longer at times........

You don't have a choice of where your documents are submitted to, it depends on where your petitioner is located.

The dates are updated..............I always recommend www.visapro.com for checking your dates. It is one of the easiest sites to use. You just have to enter your number and it will give you specific details for your case.

Please keep me posted.............
