You do not need the CGFNS exam for Florida you only need to take your NCLEX

As we keep saying here, NCLEX is now offered in London, forget about the CGFNS exam. Structure and content of the exams are quite different.
NCLEX is the one that matters.

Florida only requires a credentials evaluation, but no exam, done by CGFNS.
Sorry that you have the wrong information.

Have you taken NCLEX? Have you completed the English exams that you are required to take? If not, I would definitely hold off on moving to Florida and then looking for a job, especially on a tourist visa. You won't be able to get things finished in the six months that you have.

Thanks for your fast answer!
First, Yes I took the Toefl test, than, I have the NCLEX on the 11th of nov in miami. So I have more time to look forward to search for a job. I hear a lot of "sponsoring for the greencard"
Means that, that I can work during the cgfns process is runnig?
Sorry about all my questions, but the time is running....

Sorry but you definitely have wrong information. You cannot work while you are processing CGFNS. How are you taking the NCLEX on November 11th? Do you already have an ATT letter from Florida BON?

You need to find a employer, they need to file a petition for you..........it takes at least 60 to 90 days for you to get an EAD to begin work, and that is if the hospital or gancy files on time for you. Many times they do not.

Has CGFNS approved your credentials yet?

Be very, very careful with what you plan to do. You cannot change your status, or submit for a change. This can only be done by your employer. Many are now requiring the set of English exams, especially of foreign nurses before hiring them..................remember that Florida has a large Spanish-speaking population, so you will need to learn that as well. That is why the English exams are so important.
