How much did you spent for your nclex?

Hi everyone...I'm planning to start my application for my nclex, but i would like to know how much would i spend for the nclex processing to vermont? I just wold like to have an idea. Is $1100 high enough to spend (this includes online review and flyt and accomodation)? I'm not from the U.S so I would like to include other fees to spend for sending mails and others. Thank you!

I moved your thread to the International Forum where your thread would be more appropriate.

First of all, there is no application for the NCLEX exam. You will be applying for licensure as an RN to the state where you wish to get licensed. You then need to get permission from them to be able to sit for the exam.

The exam costs $200 plus a fee of $150 is taken out of the US. These are the charges only for the exam. You have to figure in the costs for licensure and that can run about $200 if including the fees for documentaton as well as fingerprint costs if they are required.

If you are in the Philippines, the exam can be written in Makati. Please take the time to do some reading here about specifics for the state that you are interested in. Also be aware that you are looking at more than a five year wait for a chance at a visa for the US.

Best of luck to you.

Just to add to Suzanne. Each BON will have their own costs and be different from each other so you will need to look at the state fee to decide on how much it will cost. Up to you on getting reviews but I wouldn't go to mad on getting lots of books better to stick with one or two and practice the questions
