how an bse (nursing) from india get rn of australia ,while doing masters in australia


I want to know that how i can get rn in aus while doing masters there. I am student of U.N.E of july 2009 batch.

Starting point would be the state nursing board where you are studying. You also need to check whether your study visa will allow you to work

thanks, is there any IELTS req or something assessment, i am bit confused about the whole procedure, would you please help me .I want to know the diff ways to get RN. Reply as soon as possible.

Usually there will be IELTS if English is not first language. All will depend on state you are applying but as far as I know it is required

Silverdragon is right. IELTS is one of the main requirements and currently the IELTS minimum band scores required are rising. Depending on which state you are applying for registration, the IELTS minimum band can be from 6.5 (Reading and Listening)/7.0 (Writing and Speaking) or a minimum of 7.0 in all bands.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you are currently in Sydney right? So your starting point would be to visit this website: www.nmb.nsw.gov.au
