Hospitals hiring foreign nurses

Not one thing can be done as far as petitioning for you until there ared visas available. Only the I-140 can be submitted right now, nothing for Adjustment of Status or for the EAD that will permit you to work.

And Bay Area is really tight, it is the highest paying region in the US so many US nurses wish to work in this area.

Do you have actual nursing experience in your country in a specialty area? That would be your only chance of finding someone that would petition for you........

And if from one of the countries directly affected by the retrogression, you are looking at next summer at the very earliest.

You really need to approach the hospitals yourself and also research the hospitals in the areas of NJ that you want to live. At the moment many hospitals are holding back on foreign nurses due to retrogression so may have to keep trying

Hi , I am a nurse from India . I am in bay area california . I came to US in H4 visa in sep 2005. I passed nclex and IELTS in 2007.Now I am looking for hospitals or companys which would do sponsorship for green card , is there any suggestion.

my temprovary california license expires on august 2008.Please help.

The issue you have at the moment is there is no way to adjust your status and be able to work, all you will be able to do if find an employer is file I140 which does not allow you to work. You are affected by retrogression
