All I can add is that those that followed my program exactly have all passed. You will never find me recommending a review center over there.

This is true. A number of my friends who spent so much money (in cash, at that..since a very expensive and internationally well-known review center just accepts cash) and effort (it's very tiring commuting back and forth to the center) didn't fare well in the exam. They put so much trust in being able to finish qxs from the CDs and applying their kind of "strategies" and getting high scores from it (with very limited rationales given) but just scanned over their texts and comprehensive books. Before I passed the NCLEX, I used to feel so insecure :uhoh21: compared to these friends who always seemed to have a lot of review materials, while all I'm holding unto is my Saunders compre bk :sofahider . When the exam came, most of their review materials were untouched, while my 1 and only book was torn by chapters full of sidenotes and very much disfigured. I went over and over the topics I can't understand, research from the textbooks about it, even pouring over my medical books. Of course, none of the qxs they practiced on were repeated in the exam. NCLEX will twist the qxs/topics anyway they want, and if you have read and understood how the body systems work and operate when something is lacking or broken, you'll be able to relate to these qxs. Just something for you to consider ....;)

thanks miss suzanne4 i will just finish the book and just follow your program i will just email you after i read the book. next week thanks for the reply and thanks for being there for us nurses.

You are very welcome.

I would suggest you check out the NCLEX forum under the student tab in the yellow tool bar above. You can find information there about her plan in the stickies

No I have did Hurst Review, and Kaplan q bank. I failed 3 times also. Don't give up.

All I have to say about NCLEX schools in the Philippines is: BEWARE

There is NO governing body here.

Many review centers have review instructors that have NOT EVEN PASSED NCLEX, let alone have any clinical experience.

One well-known and well-publicized review center has an instructor who went straight from getting her nursing degree to teaching NCLEX without even working here in the Philippines OR PASSING THE BOARD EXAM! Said instructor only took the board after she was criticized publicly.

If you choose to review in the Philippines, know that there very few good schools.

Check to make sure that the lecturers are all USRN or Doctors and that they all have clinical experience IN THE USA.

Check to make sure the curriculum is approved by a nursing program in the USA, the only review centers that I would recommend have had the review program approved or even created by universities in the USA.

Don't PM me for a recommendation, that is against the TOS here; I'm telling you what to look for. Use that big brain that you got by becoming a nurse and find the right way to study for NCLEX.

Last thing: Regardless of what path you choose, the NCLEX review ultimately depends 100% on you and how dedicated and focused you are.

ur ryt hush...

nclex review depends on YOU!
