You can apply for any job as long as it does not require a nursing license or approval from the College since you do not have any information from them as of yet. It is usually minimum of four to six months to get everything sorted thru the College to get their approval to even be able to sit for the CRNE exam.

But a quick question for you since you mentioned being a 2006 graduate. Did you write the exam during June, 2006? If so, did you do a rewrite? If not, then Canada is not going to accept anything. They require a local license and if you did not participate in the retake, then your local license was considered by every other country to only be considered in the Philippines and not proof of having a local license for any other country.

We are seeing a four month timeframe lately, not just three months.

There are many here that are working in Ontario now and this is what they have gone thru.

Good day! I think we share the same predicament. While mine is just a little bit different. I sent an application to CNO for an RPN eligibility last March 31.
I am also an RN from the Philippines and a second courser. My other course is BS respiratory Therpay.
Im not so sure what the assessment is gonna be. But I may be getting a bridging program for PN. Or maybe an eligibility
( I hope)

Perhaps the time frame for the assessment is 15 weeks at the most according to CNO.

Hello pickles, I called CNO last week and they said their time frame for my assessment is 3 weeks to create a file and 12 weeks for the actual assessment. They also said they only do one assessment at a time so my first assessment s for RN eligibility . Then afterwards i can sent again the A - forms with another assessment fee for RPN. I have less than 3 months more of waiting. Ill let you know the outcome once I get it.

You were a nursing instructor in the Philippines correct, now you are trying to work at the practical nurse level.
To work as RN what school do you have to complete?
