Help on jobs outside the Philippines

Hello, good day to you users who read this thread.
I'm a registered nurse, a second courser to be exact. Basically I have a job as a staffperson in a certain company, and will soon be retiring maybe a year or two from now for hopes of taking another job in which my nursing skills can be used.
I noticed that there are too many RNs in our country right now. And taking a good position here for my profession would be a bit difficult because of these circumstances. Basically I'm planning on taking a job as a nurse abroad, maybe the U.S. (We all know there's that 5 year OCW problem right now, so maybe I'll have to scratch that one out), UK, Canada, or any other country welcoming nurses.
Problem is that, I don't know where to start. I know that most countrys require another licensure examination to accept you. But I don't want to be one of those people who finishes a licensure examination and is not able to take the job in the end because no hospitals/companies have hired her yet (despite the fact that you have that license), meanwhile taking that time required for your license to expire with you doing nothing.
I'm planning ahead of time to know where to apply for a job as a nurse in a hospital overseas. And I need some help regarding where to start, could anybody point in some companies or hospitals, or even forums in several countries that uses English as a major mode of communication that I could integrate with?
