Hello New to the site

Hello there...to all registered nurses out there! can you please help me..i want to take NCLEX exam but i don't know how to start the processing. I'm planning to take the exam in Vermont.i don't know how to get the form in Vermont.Togerther with the form, what other requirements do i need to pass? i've heard about fingerprint cards and bankdrafts...BUT REALLY dont know how, where and what to do with these forms..
know a lot has passed NCLEX already...so i knw before u have the same feelings with mine right now..i hoe you wil hel me with this...

Hello and welcome to the site

Few things you need to be aware of

1) You are not applying for NCLEX but licensure to be a RN in the US of which NCLEX is part of that process.

2) Retrogression is in progress at the moment and you are looking at 5 years plus before getting a visa to work in the US (current on dates being processed of Oct 2002) Maybe worth looking at another country for the time being

If you go to the Vermont nursing board of nursing website you can find all documents and information required to go through with your application. Would also suggest a good read in this forum as much has been written. If you use the SEARCH facility and use Vermont as keyword you will find a few threads which will help you also.
