thanks for the warnings penicillin8!

that was really honest. and i again thank you for that. everything u said is true. it was just a few days ago that i read this thread, and i hired an agency months ago so dont blame me for not reading the thread thoroughly. although by now i have read everything in this thread.

with all the information i got from this thread and other numerous sources, i know what to avoid. HOWEVER, it doesn't change the fact that i already partially paid the ageny. may it be a mistake or not, at this point i dont care so long as my papers are getting processed. sure, i could have avoided paying the agency, but i can't do anything about it now. what i can do now is to do the remaining leg work on my own.

don't worry, if i do fin a health care facility that would sponsor my CAP, i'll be sure to take in mind the things that u mentioned (rate per hour, location, other benefits) THANKS AGAIN. I'll take that goodluck hehe

to decky and narsemeow:
if you intend to have your cap sponsored, you could apply directly to agencies in NZ e.g. westcoast, enterprise and others.
some offered direct sponsorship for cap and airfare while others would offer reimbursement. but i believe most of the school are full until oct or nov.
i have submitted my application for cap late june and i got the nov slot

im still here in manila decky. since my sched for cap will start on nov, i will leave for nz most probably last week of oct in order to save from further expenses.
i am also under a local agency, but no placement fee.
awww, its sad that you hired an agency here.
my expenses for cap and airfare would be reimburse by my employer after the said program.
