Re: Filipino ADN student in US
Your thread is specific to working in the US as a foreign national, so moved to the International Forum.
The two year ADN is eligible for the green card, but you need to be very aware that the OPT only permits you to remain in the US for one year after you graduate from your program and that there are no visas available for you to adjust your status to and we do not expect them to be available for several years at the earliest.
And the ADN does not meet the requirements for any other visa if it were available for you such as the H1-B or the H1-C. And your training also will not get you a license in your home country as they require the BSN for licensure there.
If you wish to remain in the US after that one year, you are going to need to continue on as a student to maintain your F-1 status or you are going to need to leave the US after 60 days.
There is much written on this very topic already, please just do a search.
