Endorsement from Ca to Wa

by Amiel

Dear Suzanne,

I am presently a holder of a California RN license. May I know how long does endorsement to the state of Washington takes.

Do you actually have a SSN# and an actual CA license with a license number, or just a letter that you passed the NCLEX exam? Significant difference in what you need to do. If you do not have an actual license number, then you cannot endorse and need to apply for License by Examination and then have the CA BRN submit proof of your passing the NCLEX exam.

Be aware that they require the CES for that.

Then just follow the procedure for License by Endorsement. You will still need to meet their requirements for licensure. They require the CES for initial licensure and more than likely for endorsement as well.

They have been quick in the past, but not sure what their turnaround time now.
