continue nsg education

Hi,
I hope to reach usa by june next year. I just completed my RN and IELTS and CGFNS and got visa screen certified. I have my BSN degree from India. I hope to be working somewhere in the northeast when i get there. And furthermore to continue my nursing education. Teaching in a nursing school or perhaps administration are my area of interests. I would like to know, if i can directly start applying and go to some correspondence school when i reach there or would i need to go some other form of training before i can appkly.

Hello, ambitious nurse,

Most institutions require the MSN in order to teach. Some, like in my area of the U.S., are in such need of instructors they are allowing BSN who are working on the MSN to teach. We need MSN prepared educators desperately.
