Company nurse vs. Hospital nurse.. Which pays higher?

It really depends on your purpose. But for me, I like Occupational Health Nursing more than in the hospital. I've worked in ER for 5 years, my salary was just enough. Then, I was employed as a Company Nurse. I like it as I am more independent, and can create close relationship to my patients--which is important.

And of course, the benefits are satisfying compare to the work.

It really depend on what you want. Do you worked for money of for excitement? :yes:

Yes. And I am very aware of that. How about you? Do you realize that when you search "company nurse vs. hospital nursing" this thread is in the top 1 in google? And to think that nobody answer it for 3 years?

Are you sure about that?

Just checked google and found out these:

Company Nurse: monthly searches - 1, 600

Occupational health nursing: monthly searches - 590

Occupational health nurse: monthly searches - 2, 900

So, do you mean that you won't care about those 1, 000 people searching for it?

Jepoy27, I think you missed the question being asked...."Which pays higher?" All those thousands of searches never answers what is being asked in this old thread.

It's either one or the another and yes, it can vary from one hospital to another, but what's your answer?

It doesn't matter if it's for enjoyment or excitement or whatever, maybe others do need to make more and others can make less and be very happy.

Yes, I did "read" the details, which you mentioned in the earlier postings on some of the points the OP wanted to hear and as you said..for the sake of others, thank you. So while the answers you gave kind of answered the details, there's no indication of the BOLD title's main inquiry question per se.

..."Which pays higher"? So based on your own experiences and those of the 1,000's of Goggle (which this was not about Googling), tell us "Which pays higher?"

It's a black or white answer.

There's no "C-Z" answer in this case question below. I think that's what others and for the sake of others wants to hear also. Simple.
