civilian nurse for military hospitals overseas

Hi, My husband and I are both looking into being civilian nurses at military clinics or hospitals most likely in germany, belgium or italy. Are there any members out there that have worked or are working there now. What is the best and worst things about it? What do you think about the facility that you are working in? What type of schedule do you usually work? I would really appreciate any help you might be able to give to me. Thanks.

Just so that you are aware of this:

They require that you have two full years of work experience out of the past three in the area where you would be applying for to work in. Without having that well documented, they will not even look at your application.

They do things differently, you must go thru a very strict credentialing process before they will consider you.

There are multiple different staffing agencies that have government contracts and each handles different bases.

Best of luck to you.
