by littlemissmuffet Oct 28, '11Hi everyone!
I would just like to ask your insights regarding CHEERS training program for BLS per se.
Will it be worth it to undergo their BLS training? In that case, I would be spending fourfold
the usual amount for the training for 1 day only (half-day to be exact). It will really save my
time but I am thinking twice if it's really worth it, especially now that I am in need of
refurbishing my skills and knowledge (hello, stock knowledge!!!) that has long been idle.
Thank you for your future responses, RNs!

- Oct 29, '11 by littlemissmuffetI see. Thank you for your response. That kind of enlightened me, though I need more insights regarding their programs. If it is possible, please let me know any additional information you know about them.
- Oct 29, '11 by Neversmilewe had trainings here but just to tell you just go get your BLS in other institution like red cross because their certificates for your BLS are not accepted in many institution plus their fees are way overpriced. two cents
- Oct 30, '11 by littlemissmuffetQuote from NeversmileHi! Yes, I'm quite concern whether the training I would be getting from them will be credited by the hospitals here in Manila. I am not so sure, but I was told by a colleague that there are hospitals that accept AHA BLS while others mandate you to have the local BLS from Red Cross. I am not very knowledgeable of the different requirements every hospital implements.we had trainings here but just to tell you just go get your BLS in other institution like red cross because their certificates for your BLS are not accepted in many institution plus their fees are way overpriced. two cents
If you don't mind, what are the institutions that do and don't recognize the certificate from these international training centers?
That will be of great help! Thank you so much...
- Oct 30, '11 by NeversmileIMHO, most tertiary hospitals. I don't think they are accredited AHA in my opinion. try to check the net. and also, lecturers are not that good they only read from the slides, IMHO.

- Nov 4, '11 by littlemissmuffetNeversmile, if you don't mind, what are the other good training centers for BLS around Manila?
- Nov 4, '11 by littlemissmuffetHi Angel! Their BLS is almost quadruple the price of the regular BLS at Red Cross. I hope I deliver the message clearly.
