Cgfns in July 2004

  1. Hello There!
I have finally got my paperwork through the CGFNS system , after one year and double documents and if I understand correctly have been sceduled to sit the exam in July 2004. The information at the website, however, does not indicate the address of the particular exam centre I have chosen and I am slightly confused about where this information is available ( or am I really thick?)
Anybody out there sitting in Geneva in July?
    Thanks so much,
    geena

How long ago did you finally get all of your documents into CGFNS? Cut-off deadline was approx. April 12.
Is it posted that you are scheduled for the July exam or are you just anticipating that you are?
They will send you a letter approximately six weeks before the test date giving you the address of the site. Do you know anyone who has taken it before, as it is usually in the same place each time.
You can also send an e-mail to customer service to ask them the location, but also make sure that you are rostered for the exam. If you are not on the actual list, they do not make any exceptions................

    Dear Suzanne,
Thank you for your reply. I received a letter from the CGFNS some time ago (Feb?) that I was rostered for the exam in July and when I went to check for on-line exam information, with my CGFNS id number, it says the same, therefore I assume I have been scheduled? I have also contacted the customer service (?) once on the phone and they confirmed that all my documents have arrived and processed. I have been reviewing like a madwoman since February and am really hoping there will be no surprises at the end of the day.... like the morning of the 14th...!!!

Great. I just know of a number of nurses that never followed up and just showed up for the exam and were not rostered. They don't allow you to take it then for any reason, if your name is not on the list.

Good luck with your exam. If you have any more questions, don't hesitiate to write.
