CGFNS CES, need some help!!

Hello Everyone,

my name is Kat. I am a registered nurse in Germany and Australia. My initial nursing education was in Germany from 2000-2003. I moved to the US a few months ago and I am trying to get registered as a nurse in Texas. I think I will go with CGNFS for the CES, as ERES and IERF sound too fishy.
My question is does CGFNS only assess my skills for an RN? ERES said its either RN or nothing when they assess the skills. IERF said its either RN or LVN. So I am kinda scared, what is if my skills are not at the level of an RN, then I wasted 300 dollars?! Has anybody from Germany gotten their CES done with CGFNS and what was your outcome??
Thank you!!!!

Welcome to the site

CES will look at your transcripts and the BON will decide whether you meet RN or LPN requirements. I think you will find a few German nurses have gone through the system with no problems.
