CGFNS and TOEFL

I applied for CES yesterday and Im kind of cunfused. According to this site CGFNS International - global credibility in credentials evaluation , if im applying for a licence at Florida board of nursing, CES is the only thing they need from CGFNS, no English language proficiency report. Does that mean I have the TOEFL send my score directly to Florida board of nursing, and not to CGFNS?

Hi SpelaD, I am in process of taking NCLEX for FL nursing board. I had my CES report sent to FL board. TOEFL results going to go to FL nursing board as well when you apply for the exam.

I had my TOEFL results sent to them at the end of april and I checked my status online today and it says deficiency text...looks like they havent received it/or it doesnt meet requirements...which it does, because FL BON requires 76 on iBT and i got 88.

I am an applicant for CES Report.The report has been issued to Virginia Board or Registered Nursing.

I was just wondering about the Language Proficiency Report. It stated that I the minimum passing score is 83, and nothing has been specified with regards to speaking part as compared with Visa Screen requiring a score of 26 on the speaking part for Registered Nurses.

I got 97 on my TOEFL ibt, but my score on Speaking section is 24. Do I still have to get a score of 26 even if I am not applying for a visa screen?

Any reply will be highly appreciated. I am very anxious to get my RN license here in VA. And the TOEFL part is what is holding it right now.

I am also an applicant for CES Report for RN endorsement to VA, I have been emailed to VA board and they told me that the minimum TOEFL ibt passing score is 83, they do not require the score 26 on Speaking section, 26 is just for visa screen. Good luck!

Awww.... I sinecerely hope so,, I am about to register again and try to get that 26 score.... The report has been issued 8 days ago already, but nothing has been updated yet on the BRN website.

How far are you from endorsing your license ms helen?

Hi mayanngaviola, I live in VA and passed NCLEX last Auguest, my original RN license state is CA. I'm still studying for TOEFL exam, VA board also told me that I can send copy of TOEFL passing score to board directly once I passed,

BoN update checklist very slow, you should be patient. By the way, are you apply for exam or just same like me?

Ohhh I see.. I took the nclex california too last aug 8. And toefl ibt last sept 9.. Please msg me at 5405534732 so we can chat a little about this endorsement thing. Andoh yes, maybe I'll send va brn my results too..

i just took my toefl exam...are u really sure that cgfns dont require the speaking section for you to get 26 of passing score?im kinda worried bout it....still waiting for the result.
