Hi guys,

Need advice from people who have received medical forms to immigrate to canada (which should be evrybody !!)

I have received my file number from CIC London a week ago and would like to know how long it takes from receiving a file number to receiving the medical forms in the post ???

Would be fantastic if someone could help out

Thanks in advance

Hi there - I think I replied to this on British expats too :-) I'll be more detailed here for you.

My medical form took about 4 weeks to arrive. They received my TWP documents on May 21st (registered post) & I got my medical request form on June 17th. I managed to get an appointment in Knightsbridge on June 18th.

Knightsbridge was nearest for me. By the way if you're thinking London for your medical worth bearing in mind that Knightsbridge is all under one roof whereas Harley Street doesn't do the Chest X-Ray you have to go round the corner & pay another clinic to take the X-ray. I thought it better to have everything coming from one address.

Worth thinking about if there are regional choices for you too.
