can we book medicals?

Hi Everyone, I wonder if you can help me...

We sent packet 3 to the embassy in London about 3weeks ago. Do we have to wait for packet 4 before we book the medicals or can we do the medicals now? (I have heard that there can be waiting lists for the medicals at short notice)

Thankyou

You can't book them until embassy gives the go ahead. Kay (madwife2002) emailed them was told all paperwork was OK so she asked if she could sort out medicals and they said Yes. Medicals are only valid apparently for 3 months so if you have it done and then there is a delay with embassy got to pay to have them done again.

Hi Anna!

Thanks, just trying to save a bit of time whilst we are hanging around. Guess it will have to be a mad rush at the end then...

By the way, we got the photo's done at snappy snaps in Leeds, they were well aware of the regulations and have a template to ensure they are correct...(they did charge quite a lot for them though!)

my friend who had it done in Bradford also said it cost a bit. Hubby gonna try with digital camera for us.

Give it a few weeks and then email embassy they will quickly tell you how soon it was going to be. They just told kay her paperwork was in order so she emailed them back and said can we sort medicals they said yes so she'sgoing to Birmingham
