I am a registered nurse from the Philippines. I plan to register with BC this year and I've got some questions:
1. How much does a "graduate nurse" earn while waiting and working for registration?
2. While I have my temporary registration and temp. work permit, can my wife (an accountant) work legally in BC?
your response will be greatly appreciated

- Jan 11, '08 by roll_69Your wife can work legally in Canada, you can include her on your application for Temporary Work Permit as accompanying dependent, she will get an Open Work Permit and if you have kids, they can come too under Study Permit if they are on schooling age..and if you where successful, you can change the status to a permanent resident in a years time if you'll get your RN.
Salary as GN varies in each provinces.. I started @ 23.20/hr as GN in SK..I guesse BC would be higher like 24-26? -
