With the psychiatric nurse training, and only that, you will be unable to sit for US Boards, whether NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN.

Even if you qualified to sit for th LPN boards, it would do you no good at all.
You would be unable to get a green card under those conditions, you would not be fast-tracked, and it would be almost impossible for you to find a sponsor since your application for visa would be with all of the others.........and take at least three to four years or so............

Best bet is to submit your documents to CGFNS for evaluation and see what they will give you credit for and what you need to make up...........no matter which way you choose, you will still need a Visa Screen Certificate, and this is done thru CGFNS........so I would start with them...........
The applicaitons for them are at: www.cgfns.org.

Good luck..............

Default thanks for the advice
Respected Madam;
thank you very much for your valuable reply . Madam, if we procede , i will be under the sponcership of my wife . she already passed the CGFNS and is preparing for IELTS . During my three year diploma , i studied all the subjects needed for CGFNS, except midwifary . instead of that i studied psychiatric nursing . Those who studied the diplloma with midwifary is eligible for CGFNS EXAM.
Madam , can i work as LPN with the sponsership of my wife .
sorry to disturbe you , thanking you ;
tomy.

LPNs are still required to have the OB section. It will be up to CGFNS to make the decision based on what your school submits. Have you submitted your documents to CGFNS? The exam is not required, unless you wish to work in Michigan or Illinois.
