Sorry, but that rate will not get approval in a contract when submitted. It is about a 1/3 less than the going rate in the area.
The US government does not go on what would be considered okay for a foreign nurse, the nurse is supposed to be getting paid the same as the American nurses. And this is going to change considerably in the next few years.
But if that is the rate that would be submitted for you at this time, more than likely it will not be approved. And it should not in my opinion.
Also where are they going to be placing you? You also need to understand if the place where they are placing you is not in business when you get a chance at the visa, then everything gets cancelled by the US government and you start all over. There is no way for them to guarantee that they will have work for you five years plus from now.
