Ca Nclex, License

I listenned to your great advise and did some reading.
Though, I still have questions, hope its ok.
I understand that if I don't have a SSN and at the moment I do not wish to reach the USA, if I want my test results to be valid for more than 3 years so what exactly do I have to do?
As I understood from reading here I can ask California to pass my result to another state that doesn't require a SSN. does that mean I dont have to do the test again after 3 years or that I need to do the exam of another state?
For that matter which states do not require a SSN, and is there a state which keep the results withot deleting it.
I'm sorry for the over curiosity, and asking a lot of questions.
thank very much for your help

Much better to look at another state for licensure but we are seeing changes with somestates now you have to prove status before license is issued. Arizona is one where it has just changed.

Thank for replying me, though I haven't got an answer.
I got a vue to take the Nclex RN California exam.
after getting the desirable results I do not wish to wait to a SSN, can I pass my results to another state, let's say Texas, to keep my results so I don't have to take the NCLEX exam again.
thank u very much

We do not recommend Ca for initial licensure but if you want to take it for that BRN before your 3 years are up you can either write to them and see if they will extend for 12 months or using the process of licensure by application apply to another BON and ask Ca to transfer your results. Be aware though if going Ca and then going to another state you have to meet their requirements for foreign trained nurse which may involve CGFNS CES depending on state you apply to.

You must apply for Licensure by Examination to the new state since CA does not issue a license without the SSN#. Therefore one cannot endorse.

Texas actually requires the CES, and that is done thru CGFNS. Once you actually test and your results remain someplace, then you do not need to test again.

Suggest that you read the Primer at the top of this forum as well as the other stickies that are there. Much information can be found there that you need to have.

There are already threads here with specifics as to what needs to be done, we are asking that you use those to first read what you will need to do if you go the route of CA, and then ask questions but post it on those threads instead of starting new ones. All of the specifics can be found in those threads, but would not start anything until much closer to the time that the letter will expire, no reason to pay extra money when you do not need to.

That is covered in the other threads as well.

Thank you.
