CA BON Nclex results without SSN

HI! I just would like to inquire if all those who recently took Nclex for California and passed will be able to see their names at the CA BON website even if one does not have SSN?

Please help. I just took mine yesterday! What should I expect? Where to look for result much faster than waiting for the snail-mail?

You will have to wait for at least 3-4 weeks for the results to be mailed to you. It will not be posted in their website.

You will never see it on the website of the BRN until you present them with a SSN#, as you will never get a license issued to you until then. All that you are going to receive is a letter that states that you passed, and meet requirements for licensure upon submitting the SSN#. Until that time, and you have three years to give them the SSN#, you do not have a license in the US and cannot endorse it as such.

hello miss suzanne im just wondering on how to get an ssn#in ca???if you are a foreign nurse tnx...

You can only get SSN once in the US and can prove you are legally there, all you need to do is go to SS office and complete paperwork and number will be allocated

how about for licensure by endorsement, assuming that everything is alright. would it be also the timeframe, three years to give them the SSN#?

You will get a temporary license but those are good for only six months, otherwise you still have the same three yers to give them a SSN#.

processing immigrant application..

im currently applying for my visa screen. however, im still waiting for my visa screen to be approved. i have submitted already all my documents to my lawyer, and i already have a petitioner as well. since my visa screen has not been approved yet, would this interfere with the processing of my immigrant application? do they need to wait for my visa screen before they proceed in processing my papers? thanks..

VSC is only needed for you to present when you have your internivew with US Embassy, it is not needed before if you are going the route of Consular Processing.
