An Bord Altranais nursing registration

by eezee

For overseas nurses who are already ABA registered (esp. those who were issued registration/decision letter recently):

I would like to know how long did it take before An Bord issued a decision letter for your nursing registration application? Did you encounter any difficulties with ABA towards gaining this registration?

I submitted mine last April; however, got some delays from my nursing school. It is only now that all my requirements were completed and received by ABA. I'm concerned because I've been hearing other applicants who are waiting for their decision letter for several months now.

Please share your experiences here. Though I am aware that according to ABA's website, overseas application may take 2-4 weeks starting from the time ABA received all the requirement, I still want to assess things out based on peoples' experiences.

Many thanks!

Nurses from Ireland don't post here very often. You might want to keep bumping this thread every few days until someone sees it who can respond to your questions. Good luck on getting to Ireland for nursing.
