badly needed advice for taking nclex and CVS for NY state

hi, i juz want to ask u, anyone who knows the procedure in taking the exam in NY? do i still need a local board? coz in CVS form there are portion there that has for licensure. how can i apply for CVS? i already go to the cgfns web site but still i didnt get it.pls help me..thnx

hi, how can a new grad can apply for new york? i know CVS is req for us to have permit to take nclex..how long could the CVS be process?does it req a local board?tnx!

correct me if i'm wrong but i believe NY needs both cgfns and nclex for you to work there. cgfns requires that you pass the local boards before you can take the exam.

if i were you, choose a state that only require nclex like cali and vermont ( i belive there are 11 states in all )

NY you do not need CGFNS exam but they have arrangements with CGFNS regarding paperwork and if you go this route then after filling the paperwork CGFNS do the running around getting transcripts

CA has delays of several months before you can take the NCLEX and before they will issue you with a license you need a SSN
