Associate Degree Nurse wanting to work in UK?

  1. Are RN's with an Assoicate Degree able to work in the UK? Do they have enough education? I am considering moving to the UK and will be graduating in december with an Associate Degree in nursing. Will I be able to work???

Sorry, I can't help you on this one, but I would also like to know. I've thought about working in Europe for a year or two. I think it would be interesting.

I have done a bit of research on this (but not too much). You are definitely able to work in the UK if you register with the NMC - see other threads, there have been quite a few to talk about this. You require at least one year's experience working in the US on top of your degree. Good luck!
