application for texas: just an inquiry

by APS

Hello....

i am a fresh grad from the Philippines, as of the present time im waiting for the result of the recent board exams here. my cousin who lives there want me to apply in Texas ... i just want to ask the following:

1. could i apply in Texas even if i don't have a license yet and don't have any experience yet in nursing practice. Because in the application form of Texas it looks like it is asking for it....
2. if ever that i could pass the application form.... how long will it take for me to receive my eligibility from the bon here in the Philippines.....

Thank you very much for your answer to this inquiry.... Good day to everyone....

Hi and welcome to the site

Please take the time to do some reading in this forum, the questions you are asking have been answered a few times. I would also suggest reading Primer for working in the US and reading up on retrogression as currently everyone is being affected by it and the process will be a long time. May also be worth waiting until you get your results as you have taken them they need to be declared to the board of nursing who may delay your application until you inform them on your results

Texas also requires the CES. The application alone to them will not get you any approval. They will not look at your application until they have received that first.
