depends on which university. Check with www.anmc.org.au We do not have a central exam like the NCLEX in the US, but I'm unsure what the process for international nurses is.

after assessment by the nursing council you will be ask to do the bridging program for 7 weeks if you are registering in new south wales..the current tuition fee is about A$7000.00 but I heard it will increase to 10k this year..
after the program you are able to register with the nursing council of new south wales

You are not 'automatically' registered to practice as an RN in Australia however under the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 (Commonwealth), you can apply for registration. The process is simple and the cost varies depending on which state board you apply to.

You would need to look at each Board of Nursing site for that information.

does anybody knows if somebody got denied in the assessment program in the NSW? because I already passed my application last February to the nursing and midwives board and until now, there is no news. . and I'm scared that that I might get denied because it's taking too long. I graduated in the Philippines.

Moving this to the International forum per the red banner asking that licensure and immigration questions be placed there leaving the sub forums for local issues. Thanks for your understanding

Have you contacted the board regarding your application? 4 months isn't long in the way of processing
