Re: anyone registering for SRNA or in Saskatchewan? why not try applying in the US? you are already a US-RN right? you can go there through H1B visa. It will take about 6 months.
babyjr, I already applied for immigrant visa, and according to statistics it will take to 5 years or more. canada is one of the best country and want to take their crne.
Hey johnbrew, have you started processing your documents for SRNA? I just think we have the same situation because I'm considering Saskatchewan and I only have a little hospital experience as a volunteer. Did you consider British Columbia? Because right now I am looking at BC and Saskatchewan.
toffzter, I have not started my processing yet. Maybe this week, vermont board of nursing have not replied yet on my email about validation of my most recent licensure. once i got their reply, i will start processing my papers. i already downloaded saskatchewan initial application package and filled out necessary information.
yes, bc and alberta do have sec assessment one of the reason i choose saskatchewan. but i also heard in this forum that saskatchewan is implementing sec assessment, im not sure though.
try "going to british columbia" forum, breech applied in bc last year. after bc evaluation, he was permitted to sit in crne. then that was the time he looked for employer and got one.
babyjr,
have you started your application yet?
