hi there! thanks! i tried clicking your name but nothing happened so i think i'm still short of the posts required for me to be able to send PMs. Anyway i've actually seen 2 persons advertise somwhere in sulit and ebay that they're selling the books. i'm more interested in the review materials from the agencies because i'm betting that those provided by the consultancies/agencies are more (how should i say this?...) concise? as in shortened?

anyway, thanks! btw have you reviewed already or have you taken the exam yourself? best of luck to us!

i think we're talking of the same thing, i found it in sulit also. i'm still reviewing for ielts while waiting for the results of my assessment in qld. i thought it would be better if i review the books sooner but then first thing first, i need to pass the ielts.

It seems we're on the same boat here... also reviewing for the IELTS. Gonna take it this June. I haven't actually decided if I will just go through the process of applying by myself, or through a consultancy firm but I'm really considering the latter. Anyway, I'm also trying to put together all my requirements so that once I've really made up my mind then everything's good to go already.

So are you using the 4 books usually recommended or do you have review materials/readings from agencies/consultancy firms? And are you going to avail of the services of an agency or just DIY?

thanks!

i already passed my requirements in QLD, i'm just waiting for the result of my assessment. i plan to buy the 3 books from sulit and i have with me here a copy of the Australian Nursing Act of 92, their code of conduct, code of professional conduct which i have downloaded from their site and also my funda and ms books.
if you really would want to go to qld, i suggest you send your papers soon for i think it takes around 3 months for the assessment from the date they acknowledged it and also we have to consider that national registration will be effective by july 2010 and we don't know what will be the changes by then.

Hi guys! Sorry Ive been very busy with my IELTS review that I didn't have time to come back here... Anyway it's final. I have decided to go through the process on my own . So can someone (who was already assessed by QNC and was given the go signal for the Challenge test) please recommend me the notary public that you have gone to? Just PM me please. I just want to make sure that I'll be doing everything right here. I plan to have my documents notarized next week.

Thanks guys in advance!

Is there anyone out there who has or knows any Philippine educated nurse who has passed the Queensland challenge test and can share his/her experience. Is it a route one can recommend or is it too risky? What's the level of difficulty?

Also, is there anyone who has finished or is currently taking the option to study? How hard is it? Does it really take a year to finish the 4 modules or one has the option to work faster thus finish faster? What's it like?

Please enlighten. Thank you.
