The NCLEX-RN exam is only for working in the US. It is not a licensing exam for any other country. So it is not required to be done before graduation for your program.

Suggest that you read the sticky called the "Primer" at the top of this forum. There is information up there that you need to know.

I think nursing in the US is somewhat diff. from any given country outside their's , whether it be socio-economic status, training, expected responsibilities, etc..

Their standard is really way above from any given country.

I agree with that , each country has different policies from others , and you have to be serious toward your job and even each state has its own political rule , so when you plan work a broad to any of the state you will have to know the requisites and the requirements need to be qualified to work to live there ,

Hi everyone! I am already a permanent resident in the US.. I live in Wisconsin.. The state requires TOEFL iBT & CES before you can take the NCLEX-RN/LPN.. I took the TOEFL already and exceeded the total score. I got 96, but the problem is I only got 23 for the speaking part.. =( I read that you can still use the total score only if you are active in the Certification Program.. is that true? Or should I retake the TOEFL? another $170 again!grrrr.. It's actually my fault I did not do any reviews.. I just took the exam and hoped for the best...any pieces of advice anyone?
