Did your agency pay(visa fees) for the nurse, spouse and dependents?

thanks,

I-140 approved may 18, 2005

yup, filled up biometric forms and forwarded visa bill payment for me and my daughter to the AGENCY ONLY (agency pays for wifey's). in case agency receives fee bill, they'd just have to mail it back to NVC without having to summon us to their office (unless they ask her for a copy of the visascreen cert).

case number was assigned after the NVC received I-140 approval.

Good for you! you did experience the agonizing pain of waiting for the retrogression...these are happy times for RNs, enjoy the ride and welcome to the nurses comittee!

Dear Kabayan:

What is the exact date your case was received by NVC and how did you know that the case was received by NVC? Did your agency notified you? Was it June 27, 2005? Was that also the time when the visa fee bill was generated?

I am getting confused on how NVC do the processing...

Thanks for your help...

kapatid na dale:

we don't know the exact receipt date from NVC. wifey's agency told her that after the I-140 approval, the lawyers immediately forwarded her papers to NVC, so that wouldv'e happened after May 18.

we didn't contact the agency regarding the matter. it was through my own volition (as suggested by you and suzanne to be proactive about these matters) that i called up the NVC hotline yesterday.

i found out about the June 27 Fee Bill generation through the hotline. it was through the hotline that i came to know about the case number for my wife's application.

my wife called up the agency to appraise them of this new development. she was advised that from the NVC to the lawyers (in the US) and to the agency here, it normally takes +/- 30 days for the receipt of the fee bill. a safe answer, i think, from the agency.

dhel:

you are so correct about agonizing over the retrogression issue.
the retrogression issue came up immediately after our conjugal decision to jump into the immigration fray.

we were soooooo ready and prepared for the looooonnnggg wait.

otherwise, if we are made recipients of the 50,000 visas, then it will truly be a blessing.
