As far as I'm aware you're short in too many areas (2), so you don't qualify.

How would I be able to prepare for the SEC Assessment? After the SEC assessment is done, am I obliged to stay in canada to wait for the results? Because ive heard if you failed in one or two areas, you need to take short courses. and then you have to upgrade your tourist visa to student visa. i think it's pretty hard but I've got no choice than to undergo the assessment. Thank you very much.

From what I understand, if one is required to undergo an SEC assessment, there is no chance of a temporary permit. Temporary permits are issued to those whose educations meet Canadian standards for the interim period while waiting for the CRNE. Obviously if you need SEC then your education doesn't meet requirements.

I'm not aware of any requirement that a person remain in Canada following their SEC, but it true that if you don't meet the standards of competence in any area, you have to take courses through Mount Royal College to upgrade your education. They're usually about 4 months in length and will include a clinical component. Clearly you could not do that with a tourist visa.

Coming to Alberta to work as a nurse is not easy or cheap for anyone, even for people from other Canadian provinces. CARNA has the highest standards in the country and is not interested in watering them down, so all applicants will have to meet the same challenges.

After paying the necessary fees for your credentials evaluation and receive the LETTER or invitation requiring for SEC assessment, the assessment in itself, held in Mt royal, (based from what Ive heard who has taken this was 1) is FREE of any charge or staffs. The CARNA on the otherhand require you to have an examination fee.
Hi and how are u doin?? im will be taking SEC assessment soon. Have read your comments and stuffs.. Can you please site a SPECIFIC question being asked in the triple Jump assessment. I have SEEN examples already in the CARNA website, but i need to know more SPECIFIC questions or scenarios being asked

I hope if you dont mind post some tips

As I replied in your other post about SEC Triple Jump, the exact questions asked cannot be shared with other candidates. That would be considered cheating. The examples on the Mount Royal site are as close to the true questions as you can get.
