i'm planning to take the cgfns in USA and I'm just wondering if i can obtain a visa of any kind to take the exam since im a foreign nurse. tnx

There is no reason to take the CGFNS exam in the US, and the US will not issue a visa for you to come to the US to sit for the exam as it is offered all over the world.

They do not issue visas to sit for the NCLEX exam in the US either.

Suggest that you find out what the requirements are for licensure in the state where you plan to work, the CGFNS exam is only required for about four states out of fifty.

Have to already applied to NY in the past and if so how long ago? If not too long ago you could contact them and discuss re sitting the exam.
