Its the wrong amount, I ordered $135.00 and they sent $247.80 which is the equivalent of 135 Stirling!!! And I paid 12 quid for the service!! Have to wait untill Monday now to sort it out. I got all excited when it came too!! ....OK moan over

Gosh Kay,

that seems ages ago that they made that error!!

Maybe you should have told them we deal in £'s here in this country :chuckle but you would like cheque in $

Demand the fee back and make sure you get the correct exchange rate you would have got at the time!! except of course if it was not in your favour :coollook:

Well first I had to wait untill the Monday to ring them then I had to sent the wrong cheque back which they had to recieve before they could issue anouther one. If it doesn't come today I will ring them.

I was sent a copy of my training transcripts yesterday. I'm EN trained and did the conversion course last year - so really I've started the process quite a while ago - It took me 1.5 years to get on the course to start with!!!! and 9 months doing the course!!!!

Looking at the transcripts they have got me down as having done only 30 hours maternity practical hours but I did more than that :o . I'm a bit worried now as they have allready sent them of to the US. Do you think that I should sit and wait or do something?

Hi

How many hours do you have to do?

I take it you spent longer than 4 days doing midwifery. I did 8 weeks in my RGN training. Then of course I did 18months post grad.

Do you have to send transcripts of both kinds of training.

By the way when you need the transcripts again for the visa screen/green card you dont have to pay again, just the first time.

I too did my conversion course... I would check where you did your conversion. I know I had to do 75 hours theory and 75 practical on maternity, mental health and I think it was 20 hours on community. I still have my records to prove it if there was any queries but luckerly there wasn't

Update-the cheque arrived after 2 days so now sent off to wait god knows where till I have my interview at US embassy and that could be over a year away. It is payable to The State Dept, so if they bank it when they recieve it then wait to interview for up to 18 months, good interest on everybodies money hey. :coollook:

Kay- have you got your cheque, where are you by the way it has been quiet on here without you and Anna is also missing
